The Royal Palms Estate is located on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, just 21 miles north of Hilo. It is a secluded retreat with a stunning 220 degree view of the ocean. This 13-acre estate contains an overwhelming number and variety of fruit trees, exotic tropical foliage, and species of palms.  The majestic entrance driveway consists of 52 royal palms trees spanning over 60 feet in height. We spent 8 years in fully developing the Royal Palms Estate into a hawaii vacation rental, including building all of the structures and propagating of tropical plants. There is 7000 square feet of living space indoors and outdoors in our 5 bedroom, 5 1/2 bathroom complex, including 3 distinct structures: 1) The 4 bedroom suites, laundry room, and garage building; 2) The entertainment center, with an oversized kitchen, dining room, living room, pool table room, theatre room, and 800-foot front lanai overlooking a 220 degree view of the ocean; and 3) The pool house, with 1000 square feet lanai of relaxing space, bathroom, and fifth bedroom. This is complete with  a swimming pool, swim up bar, jacuzzi, waterfall, large pool decks and koi pond for you and your family to enjoy, while the tropical breeze flows up from the ocean.  There is wireless internet access, large screen television in every room and the bar area, and digital music throughout the 3 living areas. Each unique bedroom suite features dual sinks, walk in showers, privacy toilets, air conditioning, walk in closet for all of your belongings, and a view of the ocean from the interior of both sides of each bedroom. This is a beautiful and wonderfully relaxing site where you can have a multi-generational family vacation or special event, a business retreat, relax and enjoy the property, or have a location from which you can explore the multitude of sites on the Big Island.

The Royal Palms. a luxurious hawaii vacation rental is a unique property with a plethora of fruit, including 200 lychee trees, 120 coconut trees, 50 mangosteen trees, bananas, guavas, avocados, lemons, limes, oranges, tangerines, mangos, papayas, star fruits, bramble berry, passion fruit, and many more.  The 13 acres contain over 4000 palm trees, as well as thousands of tropical plants, all grown from seeds or cuttings. You will find few other orchards with such a variety of tropical fruits, trees, and foliage, with such a breath-taking view of the the Pacific Ocean and the annual migration of whales. In one direction you see 220 degrees of ocean, in the other direction you see the top of Mauna Kea with world famous observatories, and all around lush tropical fruit trees and foliage.
